Introducing FC Home Delivery!

From your store, to beyond your customer's door – say hello to the FC Home Delivery!

Freightcom is proud to announce our newest inside delivery service, launching December 11, 2017!

What is FC Home Delivery you may ask? Ok, let’s break it down!

FC Home Delivery will allow you to provide your customers with a white glove delivery service! You can now arrange for your shipment to be delivered inside your customer’s home without having to deal with an external home delivery company, let Freightcom handle the last mile delivery for you. This service is ideal for deliveries to a residence, office building, retail store, hotel, campus… the possibilities are endless! (big pat on the back!)

Currently, the services are available in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Vancouver and Montreal. But don’t worry, we will be expanding the FC Home Delivery service to major cities all across Canada (coming soon!)

Customers will now have the option to choose from the following three service types:

  1. First Room Delivery
    • Delivery into the first room of the customer’s home.
    • Appointment delivery is included (3- hour window)
    • Signature request is required
  2. Room of Choice Delivery
    • Shipment will be delivered to the customer’s room of choice
    • Appointment delivery is included (3- hour window)
    • Signature request is required
    • Two-man team to assist with delivery
  3. White Glove Delivery
    • Unpack and debris removal
    • Light assembly is available
    • Shipment will be delivered to the customer’s room of choice
    • Appointment delivery is included (3- hour window)
    • Signature request is required
    • Two-man team to assist with delivery

Ok, so we told you about this cool new service and you may be wondering...

HOW DO I BOOK A FC HOME DELIVERY? (Trust me, we are excited too!)

Having automated the shipping process for pallet shipments, the next step in the shipping process was to automate the home delivery service. That’s right! If your customer’s postal code is within the FC Home servicing areas, then with a simple click of a button, you can add the service you like. That’s it!

The process is very simple when booking your shipment, you are able to still select the carrier of your choice that will move the freight from your location to our FC Home delivery hub. From there we will take over! Our professional, uniformed delivery team is certified (with background checks) will set up a delivery appointment and conduct the final steps of the delivery as per your specifications.
