Freightcom's Updates: Peak Surcharges and Holiday Schedule 2024/2025 | Canada Post Strike Update
On November 12th, 2024, The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has issued an official strike notice to Canada Post.
In accordance with this notice, unless a resolution is reached, strike activity could begin as soon as Friday, November 15, 2024, following the mandatory 72-hour notice period.
In the event of a labor disruption, take advantage of all the carrier options available on your Freightcom account to keep your shipments moving smoothly without delays until the labour disruption is resolved. You can utilize these carriers to ensure your shipments keep moving. This will provide flexibility during this busy season while minimizing uncertainty.
